Design for Manufacturing Competitiveness Report

It was released in February but a colleague of Clandestine recently forwarded this report onto us. It was co-authored by our Director's old design lecturer, friend and colleague - Sam Buccolo who is a thought and practice leader in the field of Design Led thinking and integration. 

He and the team AIDN have done a fantastic job researching, bench marking and summarising the value of design and its ability to enable competitiveness in Australian manufacturing. 

This report starts the conversation, presents useful frameworks and case studies on Australian businesses that have adopted a Design Led approach. It also importantly calls on the government and industry to initiate new programs to further allow Australian manufacturers to compete by embracing Design Led practices.
